Padstow → Wadebridge
Our location at the very start of the Camel Trail overlooks the Camel Estuary, offering a picture-perfect starting point. The trail begins with views across the water and Rock’s iconic sand dunes, before following the river inland to the vibrant town of Wadebridge.

Wadebridge → Bodmin
Wadebridge offers the perfect place to take a break. With independent shops, cafés, and riverside walks, it’s worth a stop before continuing on. As you leave Wadebridge, the Camel Trail enters a more wooded, tranquil setting, winding toward Bodmin.
Bodmin → Wenford Bridge
From Bodmin, you can continue onto the final section of the trail. A hidden gem, this stretch passes waterfalls, ancient trees, and peaceful countryside. Look out for the turning after the Borough Arms pub — a signpost will guide you to the last leg.
